A pipe made of PE 100 HDPE exhibits high stiffness, which is favorable for the hydrostatic pressure performance and ring stiffness. In addition, a high density reduces the creep tendency and contributes to a higher resistance to crack propagation. These pipes also offers significant cost savings in installations, proven engineered solutions and freedom of design, reduced maintenance costs and extended life for most pipeline systems. These benefits, advantages and cost saving opportunities are derived from the basic and unique properties and characteristics of HDPE pipes.
Straight lengths are supplied and stocked in standard lengths of 6, 9, 12 meters. Other lengths may be supplied by arrangement as well. The thicknesses vary according to the nominal pressure rating of the pipes; PN 10, PN 12.5 and PN 16.
TIMPLAS HDPE pipes are manufactured to conform to various international standards; MS 1058, BS 3284, DIN 8074, ISO R161, SFS 4231 and TIS 982-2533.
